Feed the Hungry Livelihood Programs (FtHLP) started providing funds for livelihood programs in 1996. These included grants to registered corporations and cottage-like, small home-based or community-based business ventures, whether they already exist and in need of expansion or were start-ups.

We at FtH are blessed with partners who become third-party signatories in our Memorandum of Agreement such as the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP), the Cebu Institute ofTechnology Alumni Association (CITAA), Rotary Club, and Kiwanis Club. And, of course, with the help of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) that is able to monitor and report on the implementation of FtH's projects.

Our livelihood programs are found in areas hard hit by calamities or located in areas that need economic activity to stimulate the local community. FtHLP can be found in places like Cavite, Quezon, Cagayan, lsabela, Aurora, Marinduque, Cebu, Bohol, Negros Occidental, Southern Leyte, Aklan, Romblon, South Cotabato, Maguindanao, Davao del Sur, and Compostela Valley. Our latest project is in the Province of Davao Oriental.

We have awarded monies to fund anywhere from broom-making, doormat, duster- and potholdermaking, loom weaving, hog-raising, sewing, purchase of motorized fishing boats and trisikads, and, our latest beneficiary, a rice-planting project.
