Dr. Jovy Eusebio’s message to all delivered during the HANDOG 2019’s Fundraising Gala at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. last Saturday, November 16th, 2019
“Maayong gabii kaninyong tanan. Greetings to everyone and welcome to Feed the Hungry’s HANDOG 2019!
On behalf of the dedicated and committed Members of the FtH Board of Directors and Volunteers, I am pleased to share with you this information.
This year 2019, we have utilized $301,056.00 of your generous donations towards the implementation of Feed the Hungry’s Programs in the Philippines.
As of this writing, five (5) two-classroom school structures are now being built; 3 in Luzon, 1 in Visayas and 1 in Mindanao ready for turnover in February of 2020.
Our volunteers will be there to oversee these events, traveling on their own expense paying their own transportation and accommodations and will also bring with them Department of Education mandated books, school supplies for the children and basic necessities for orphans, the aged, abused and neglected. Feeding and nutrition programs in different schools all over the country have been continuously monitored and constantly maintained.
Our calamity assistance and rehabilitation activities have provided monetary assistance to the Marawi victims of terrorist attacks and to the Jolo fire victims.
Feed the Hungry’s scholarship program is so vigorous it has funded many deserving poor students who otherwise would not have access to college education or even vocational courses, offering returns and rewards to their communities that are beyond measure.
Clearly, FtH volunteers have been very busy and we sincerely hope that these accomplishments will inspire donors to continue supporting a cause that profoundly affects other people’s lives. The idea of humanitarian gift-giving is being raised to the next level by FtH with your support and we are proud to have you as our partners in our quest to help break the cycle of deficiency in our developing communities.
Feed the Hungry needs your strong patronage now more than ever, our less fortunate fellowmen depend on us and other organizations like ours, we must not let them down.
Thank you for your deep commitment to all that FtH stands for and for your continued trust and confidence. Feed the Hungry will carry on and be here for as long you are with us.
Please help us help them.
Have an enjoyable evening! Maraming Salamat po at Mabuhay Tayong Lahat!”
Sincerely,
Jovy Mutia-Eusebio, M.D.
Chairperson of the Board
