Carlos C. Alvano
Carlos is a retired Mechanical Engineer who worked in the private industry for 14 years and at the Internal Revenue Service for 26 years. He is a widower who lost his beloved wife, Anita, after 43 years of marriage. Together, they raised three boys they are very proud of—Albert, Bernard, and Carl, who all graduated from VA Tech. He is active in the Fil-Am community and is recognized as the founder of the Philippine Association of Metropolitan Washington Engineers (PAMWE). He is also active in the church serving as an Usher, substitute CCD Teacher/Catechist, and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
