Roosevelt Elementary School Fundraising Project
Roosevelt Elementary School in Bellingham, Washington raised $511 for the Philippine Typhoon Relief. Students came with coins from home to put in the jar. Gloria Caoile’s sister, Eleanor, decided that ‘children’ would like to help other children affected by Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda- so Eleanor started this Penny Jar.
