Program In Progress: Infrastructure Water System

We have continued with the social preparations for the Tubig sa Baryo project in Nueva Vizcaya. Our Project Coordinator continued to meet with the Municipal Engineer of Ambaguio town to discuss preparations for construction, which will include mobilizing community members to source local materials (e.g., lumber, gravel and sand) for formworks and concrete structures, among others. They are also scheduled to consult with a local drilling company. This will be the same process for the community in Kayapa town. With this, actual construction may start by the second half of September 2023.

We are committed to completing the three units by early January 2024, and perhaps by the end of this year, at the earliest, as weather and local contexts will permit.
