Beneficiary: 100 children with special educational needs and their teachers

Location: SPED: Lemery Pilot Elementary School, Atienza St., Lemery, Batangas

Donation: USD 1,000

Ms. Enriquez requested teaching materials and equipment as part of special educational needs for children with disabilities at Lemery Pilot Elementary School. These learners were part of the study conducted by Special Education (SPED) teachers to determine if these students were ready to be integrated into a regular classroom. The purpose would impact inclusive education and establish how much it benefits students with disabilities. Also, the study would help the learners and their families because the philosophy of inclusive education aims to assist and support all children with special educational needs to learn at their own pace and style within a nurturing learning environment that would make a difference in their outlook.

Mrs. Perseveranda Solis donated the funds to purchase the requested materials and equipment.
