Feed the Hungry Visits Laylayan, Iloilo

52720430_2312393608821786_8658163914183278592_n.jpgFeed the Hungry Volunteers went to Laylayan, Iloilo for a Turn-over Ceremony of the two  Classroom School donated to this community by Feed the Hungry and PAMWE. A year ago, a water system was also donated by the same group. This time we brought books, backpacks, school supplies, and to the delight of everybody especially the kids, we treated them to a Jollibee lunch and be entertained by the Jollibee Mascot! Smiles and laughters on the kids’ faces are priceless!

Feed the Hungry, Inc. (FtH) is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit charitable organization based in Washington, D.C. Started in 1992 and officially incorporated in 1993, FtH is wholly volunteer-driven and started as a gift giving and feeding project for indigent children in the Philippines by a group of World Bank Group and IMF (International Monetary Fund) Filipino staff and joined by Filipino-American volunteers in the community.
